using the word Christian as a weapon

I have seen this way too many times just in the past few months.
I am a Christian.
Now, what does than mean?
It means that I Believe that Jesus died on the cross for me. My love for him is overwhelmingly huge. I try and make choices in my life that He would approve of.
Do I make mistakes?
Yes, How can I not?
I'm human.
Being a Christian does not automatically make you a perfect person. It gives you a more loving spirit and makes you realize your mistakes and convicts you.
There are some people that get on your nerves and do things that irritate you.
I'm sure some people feel the same about me.
If they are a new Christian and not real strong in their faith I will try to guide them and sometimes they do the same for me.
But, I still get mad at people, I try and watch my words because I know that once I say something I can't take it back. It still happens sometimes.
All I can do is ask God to forgive me and ask that person to forgive me.
Remember that the person may not forgive you but that is OK.

Back to the word Christian being used wrongly.

You can't say things like:
"If they were real Christians they wouldn't do that".
That is false. Real Christians make mistakes too.

"That is not very Christian of them".
This is usually used when someone is trying to make themselves look better in a situation.

People need to stop throwing the word Christian as a weapon and tool or even a shield.
I say it is wrong to constantly try and point out all the flaws of everyone else to make an argument or to win one.

Some people say that if you are a Christian you can't judge people.
That is wrong, and right. The Bible tells us we can't judge non-Christians, people that don't have salvation.
We can judge other Christians and the Bible tells us to.
There is a wrong and right way to do it. You can't judge someone if you don't like them, it would not be fair. It has to be in a loving way and a Godly way and be about something that would hurt them if they continued to do whatever they are being judged for. You also have to make sure you are not doing it for your own pleasure, to point something out bad about the person. You need to pray about it and talk to your pastor about it before anything is said. Sometimes all we have to do is pray for the person and let God handle it. The person does not have to hear it from another person. God works in our hearts as well.

Christians are just people what have a faith and trust in Jesus. We don't go around telling people what they are doing wrong, or that they don't go to the right church. We don't tell people anything but the LOVE of GOD and HIS SON, the LOVE he has for them.
I love Jesus and try to make the words that come out of my mouth and in my writing glorify him.
